Learning 4 Life Farm is a 7-acre job training farm in Johnstown, Ohio with gardens and therapy alpacas for teens and young adults on the autism spectrum and related disabilities. We plan to open the door to the community, and anyone who wants to come check out our program as well! Our Farm Educator, Amanda, and our Farm Director, Jamie, are working hard preparing workshops etc for our students that visit The Farm. The Learning 4 Life Farm is overseen by a Board of Directors.
Grow with us
Since 2019, students on the autism spectrum, staff, volunteers and community members have worked to create our job training alpaca farm. Today, our farm features vegetable and flower gardens, greenhouses, rain gardens and pollinator habitat, a barn and workshop with farm market, and fenced pastures for our new therapy alpacas. Help grow our farm for youth on the autism spectrum and related disabilities!
The NeedStudents with autism graduate without work and life skills: 85% of young adults with autism are underemployed. Our program seeks to change that. |
